Passiro vs. Osano
Give your team a capable cookie banner without starting with a large software budget. Compare Passiro’s website-focused plans with Osano’s consent offering and broader privacy platform.
Three reasons to start with Passiro
-
A smaller step into paid consent management
Passiro Pro is $10 per month or $96 with annual payment for each domain or subdomain. It brings your own branding and weekly scanning. Osano’s published Plus price is $199 per month for a package with several domains. If you are equipping one website, Passiro gives you a much lower published entry price.
-
Invite the people who maintain your website
Passiro includes unlimited team members on every plan. Bring marketing and development colleagues into the account without choosing the plan around seat count. Osano’s self-service plans publish one user on Free and two on Plus.
-
Grow your audience without a visitor allowance
Passiro does not cap the number of visitors in its plans. Campaign traffic and a growing audience do not force a change in your consent subscription. Website size and the features you need remain the practical plan choices.
Start with the published limits
The table below compares the limits that can be established from the self-service plans. Osano’s broader feature catalogue is not treated as proof that every feature is included in Free or Plus.
| Starting-plan question | Passiro | Osano |
|---|---|---|
| Is a free plan available? | ✓ Yes | ✓ Yes |
| Free user allowance | ✓ Unlimited | 1 user |
| Free visitor allowance | ✓ Unlimited | 5,000 monthly visitors |
| Paid entry price | ✓ Pro: $10/month; $96/year, per site | Plus: $199/month, package |
| Users on paid entry plan | ✓ Unlimited | 2 users on Plus |
| Traffic on paid entry plan | ✓ Unlimited visitors | 30,000 monthly visitors on Plus |
| Published paid entry site allowance | 1 separately billed domain/subdomain | 3 domains on Plus |
| Full scan allowance and export window | Pro: 750 pages; 12-month exports | Confirm in the selected subscription |
Both green cells indicate a shared feature, such as availability of a free plan. Green on a larger allowance identifies that particular advantage. The entry-price row compares advertised starting prices and package sizes; it is not a claim that the two plans include identical services.
What Passiro includes for website teams
On Free, you can build the banner visually, block scripts automatically, scan up to 500 pages each month, apply geo-targeting and review consent analytics. Google Consent Mode v2 is included. Consent history extends to 13 months, with exports covering the latest 30 days.
Choose Pro for a branded banner, weekly scans of up to 750 pages and a 12-month export window. Business increases the scan allowance to 5,000 pages and adds API access, priority email support and up to 36 months of history and exports. Both paid plans include unlimited visitors and team members.
Osano also offers consent management capabilities such as regional banner behaviour, consent capture and blocking. Their availability in your chosen package should be established in the plan or quote. Its wider platform additionally covers privacy operations beyond a cookie banner.
Budget for your actual website setup
All four examples need automatic blocking, Google Consent Mode v2, consent analytics and scanning of every listed page at least monthly. The service company accepts provider branding and needs 30 days of exports. The larger examples require their own branding, geo-targeting and exports covering twelve months.
| Business profile | Passiro annual price | Osano comparison basis | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small service business | ✓ Free: $0 | Free: $0 within the published traffic/domain limits | Confirm scanning, analytics and exports |
| B2B / SaaS website | ✓ Pro: $96 | Plus: $2,388 over 12 monthly payments | Confirm all required features and scan scope |
| High-traffic online store | ✓ Business: $288 | Custom price needed | Above Plus visitor allowance |
| Company with 5 websites | ✓ 5 × Pro: $480 | Quote needed for the actual setup | Domain structure and visitor counting matter |
USD, excluding taxes. Passiro uses published annual totals with a 20% discount; its monthly-payment alternatives are $0, $10, $30 and $50 in total. Osano’s $2,388 is $199 × 12: a 12-month cost reference, not a verified annual-contract price. No standard annual discount was established from the public self-service page. No like-for-like savings percentage is claimed for unconfirmed packages.
-
Small service company
Passiro Free meets the defined workflow. Osano Free fits the published visitor count, but that does not establish that every scanning, reporting and export requirement is included.
-
A growing B2B or SaaS website
Passiro Pro offers a published price for the stated needs. Osano Plus fits the published visitor allowance; confirm the full feature and export scope before using it as a comparable quote.
-
An online store with regular traffic peaks
Passiro Business fits the scan size without a visitor limit. The Osano self-service visitor allowance does not cover this traffic, so an actual quote is needed.
-
One business operating five websites
This is 50,000 monthly visitors counted separately by website; the total is not deduplicated across sites. The company wants separate site configurations and access for its colleagues.
Passiro counts the five installations separately. Osano’s setup guide says a root-domain configuration works on its subdomains, so do not assume five separately billed Osano domains. Confirm the final domain count, traffic measurement, seats and scanning scope together; multiplying a one-site price would not produce a reliable quote.
A consent workflow the website team can own
-
Make changes in context. In Passiro’s visual editor, the team can adjust the banner’s wording, colours and layout, then review the preview before publishing. Pro adds the company logo and removes the Passiro name.

Review changes to the website. Scheduled scans help reveal new cookies and trackers after a campaign, integration or content release. Choose the plan by the pages you need scanned; Pro and Business also include on-demand checks.
Review cookie categories in Cookies Detected before checking individual entries. -
Give colleagues access to the evidence. Consent analytics and history help the team review choices, while exports support keeping the records it needs. Unlimited team members let the relevant colleagues work in the same account.

Why choose Passiro for website consent?
Passiro offers a low-cost route to a branded banner, a clear scanning allowance and consent reporting without visitor or seat limits. It is a strong fit when your immediate requirement is to run consent well across the websites you own. You can begin on Free and pay for a larger or more demanding site when there is a concrete need.
When might Osano remain part of the stack?
If your organisation already uses Osano for subject-rights workflows, data mapping or other privacy operations, treat those services as a separate purchasing decision. A CMP replacement should not be assumed to replace them. For a team choosing specifically for website consent, Passiro provides a clearer and more affordable published starting point.
Plan a controlled switch from Osano
-
Identify what is being replaced. Map the consent script, root domains, subdomains, regional settings and dependencies on any wider Osano tools.
-
Retain the necessary records. Arrange exports under your current plan and keep the history outside Passiro. Record the banner settings and tag behaviour you need to reproduce.
-
Set up Passiro per site. Select the scan allowance, configure branding and regional rules, then test the site before release.
-
Change the consent installation. Remove the old banner as the new one goes live and verify accept, reject, withdrawal and consent signals. Review the old contract only after checking which other services you still use. Historical Osano consents are not imported into Passiro.
Questions from teams considering a change
Is Osano’s $199 price charged for every domain?
Its published Plus package includes three domains. It should not be multiplied by the number of domains as though it were a per-domain price. Passiro’s subscriptions, by contrast, are per domain and subdomain.
Does Passiro charge more when the audience grows?
No visitor or pageview surcharge applies. Keep the number of pages to scan and the required features in mind when choosing the plan.
Can my colleagues use Passiro Free?
Yes. Team access is not limited to a single user on Free. Paid subscriptions add capacity and features rather than an entry-level seat restriction.
Is the Osano twelve-month figure an annual offer?
No. It is the total of twelve published monthly payments. Request any annual terms directly and compare the resulting quote using the same requirements.
Does a shared subdomain setup reduce my Passiro bill?
No. Each domain and subdomain is billed separately in Passiro, even when managed from the same account. Review the provider-specific counting rules for each side.
Can I replace a whole privacy platform with Passiro?
This article concerns cookie consent, scanning and consent reporting. It does not claim to replace unrelated privacy-management workflows.

Checked 21 October 2026. Public self-service limits and broader product capabilities are kept separate. Quote-dependent configurations are not assigned invented prices, and no annual discount is assumed.
