Banner design and regions
Let visitors change or withdraw consent
Visitors should be able to revisit their choices after closing the banner.
1. Make the settings button visible
Open Button Design. Choose a position and device visibility that keep the button easy to find. See Customize the cookie settings button for the design steps.
2. Reopen the banner
On your website, make an initial choice. Select the cookie settings button to reopen the banner.
3. Save a different choice
Change the optional categories and use the banner's save control. To withdraw optional consent, turn those categories off and save.
4. Check the result
Reload the page and reopen the settings to confirm the choice is remembered. Ask your developer to check that affected services respond to the new state. Do not assume withdrawing consent automatically deletes every cookie already stored.
