Install the Passiro script and test your cookie banner
Install the Passiro script on your website, then check the installation.
Before you start: Add your site in Passiro. You need access to your website's HTML head or someone who can edit it for you.
1. Copy your site's script
Open your site and select Implementation in the sidebar. Under Passiro script, click Copy.
Copy the Passiro script from your own account. YOUR_SITE_ID in the screenshot is a placeholder.

2. Install the Passiro script on your website
Place the copied Passiro script inside <head>, before every other <script>, on every page. Keep the script unchanged; do not add async or defer. Save and publish the website changes.
Not sure where to install it? Give your website administrator the copied script and these placement instructions.
3. Check Allowed Domains
Under Allowed Domains, check that the domain where you installed the script is listed. If you are testing on a staging or preview domain, enter that domain and click Add. The script only runs on allowed domains.

4. Verify the installation
Scroll to Verify Installation and click Verify. This is separate from Geo-targeting verification below it.

Look for “Script is correctly installed” and review the individual checks. If a check fails, correct the reported issue and run Verify again. You can also download the PDF report.

5. Test as a visitor
Open your website in a fresh private/incognito window. Check that the banner appears and its text and buttons are readable. Try a consent choice, then use the site's consent settings button to reopen the banner.
Repeat in a fresh private session for the other choices, and check on mobile too. The installation check confirms setup details; it does not replace testing your site's consent behavior.
Banner not appearing?
Check that your website changes are published, the current domain is allowed, and you copied the script for the correct site. Try a fresh private window so a saved choice does not affect the test. Then run Verify again.
Screenshots are edited, anonymized examples. Use your own website, banner and Passiro script.
