Troubleshooting

Troubleshoot an empty or missing cookie declaration

Check the declaration data and page installation separately.

1. Review the scan

Open the latest scan and check whether it completed and found cookies. If pages were missed, follow Troubleshoot missing or incomplete scan results.

2. Check the correct website

Open the cookie declaration settings for the website you are publishing. Confirm that the declaration embed belongs to that website.

3. Check the page embed

Ask your developer to confirm that the declaration code is present on the published page and has not been removed by the CMS. A code block that displays the snippet as text will not render the declaration.

4. Retest and report

Refresh the page after publishing. If the declaration remains empty or fails to load, report the page, scan status and browser to Passiro. Keep your cookie information accurate while you investigate.
