Plans and billing

Upgrade or downgrade your plan

Buy or reduce site slots, move a website to another plan and see what changes for billing, features and data.

Before you start: paid plans are bought per website as slots in Billing, and each website is then assigned to a plan. Buying slots and assigning a website are separate steps, so a plan change can involve both.

1. Check your slots

Open Billing → Subscriptions. Active plans lists each plan you pay for with its billing period, number of sites, how many are allocated and its renewal date. Open Allocations to see which websites use each plan.

2. Buy slots for the new plan

Under Adjust plans (Choose a plan before your first subscription), choose Monthly or Annual and use + next to Pro or Business to set the number of sites. The summary shows the new monthly or annual total and, when you add slots during a billing period, an amount marked Due today (prorated). Confirm with the button below the summary; without a saved card it continues to checkout with Stripe. Your first paid plan sets your billing date, and a plan you add later renews on the same date.

3. Move the website to the new plan

Open the website in your dashboard and select the plan button in the header: Upgrade on a Free website, or the name of its current plan. In Change plan, choose a plan that shows an available slot; the website changes plan when you select it. A plan without a free slot shows No slots available and a Buy slot link to Billing.

4. Downgrade a website

To move a website to a lower plan or to Free, choose that plan in Change plan, or select Remove next to the website in Billing → Allocations. The slot it used becomes available for another website. This does not cancel or reduce your subscription: you keep paying for the slot until you reduce the number of sites in step 5.

5. Pay for fewer slots

Under Adjust plans, use − next to the plan and confirm. The summary shows any Credit (applied to next invoice). If a plan then has fewer slots than websites, Passiro moves websites to Free automatically: websites shared with you through a team first, then your own, newest first. Setting a plan to 0 sites ends that subscription.

6. Check what changes for the website

A website on a lower plan keeps working within that plan’s features and limits. On Free, your own logo, the removal of Passiro branding, IAB TCF v2.4 and GPP, on-demand scans and email support stop; scans become monthly scans of up to 500 pages, and the dashboard shows 13 months of consent history with exports of the last 30 days.
