Test embedded videos, maps and third-party frames
Embedded content can load resources from a different origin and can initialize at a different time from the main page.
Start by listing the embed URL, provider instructions, category and scripts involved.
In a fresh test session, inspect whether the iframe or its loader sends requests before a choice. Reject optional use and inspect again. Then accept only the intended category and confirm the content becomes usable. Test a reload and a route change if the site uses client-side navigation.
Reopen settings, withdraw that consent and test subsequent behavior. Determine whether the integration can stop further activity in the current document or needs a controlled reload. Document the actual behavior rather than claiming that removing an iframe automatically deletes all provider cookies.
If content remains blocked after the intended choice, investigate CSP, provider errors and initialization timing. Do not classify a provider as Necessary simply to bypass a failed integration.
Acceptance: the embed’s behavior matches the intended choice on first load, after acceptance and after withdrawal. This guide does not claim that every third-party iframe is automatically controlled by Passiro; verify each integration and use its supported consent mechanism.
